Wayne Wagner is the editor of The Complete Guide to Securities Transactions: Enhancing Investment Performance and Controlling Costs (John Wiley & Sons, 1989) and coauthor with real estate maven Al Winnikoff of Millionaire (Renaissance Books, 2001). In 1972 he was a founding partner of the firm that became Wilshire Associates, and later served as chief investment officer of Wilshire Asset Management, overseeing more than $3 billion in passive funds. Earlier, he worked in the famed Management Sciences division at Wells Fargo Bank, where he helped design and operate the first index fund. Wagner has a master’s degree in statistics from Stanford University and a bachelor’s of business administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
