Carl Palmstierna is a member of the board for Panopticon Data Visualization SoftwareCarl Palmstierna is Chairman of the Board. Carl is a former partner with Goldman Sachs and has been involved with international investment banking for 30 years. He has served as CEO for Industrial Investment International, a private equity firm, and since 2002 he has been the CEO of ABG Sundal Collier, a major investment banking, brokerage and corporate advisory firm based in Oslo, Norway, with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, London and New York. In addition to Panopticon, Palmstierna is Chairman of the Board for Momail, MyFc and Qbrick and serves on the boards of Viewserve, Bluefish Pharmaceutical, AlltforForaldrar, and Elekta.


Willem De Geer is a member of the board for Panopticon Data Visualization SoftwareWillem De Geer is a member of the Board and also serves as Panopticon's Managing Director. He was co-founder and CEO of emerging markets brokerage Brunswick Direct before starting Panopticon. Before his term at Brunswick Direct, De Geer was Vice President Corporate Development at KMOC, an oil company that is now part of Marathon Oil. Willem holds a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.


Ulf Arnetz is a member of the board for Panopticon Data Visualization SoftwareUlf Arnetz is Founder and Chairman of Reforce International, founder of several corporations in Scandinavia and USA and a leading entrepreneur with broad international experience. He founded the market-leading portal software company Corechange Inc, which was second in the industry when Arnetz sold it to OpenText in 2003. Prior to Corechange, he was the President and board member of Cambridge Technology Partners. Arnetz also founded IOS Group AB (now part of Cambridge Technology Partners), which rapidly and profitably grew to be a dominant professional service organization within Scandinavia. Mr Arnetz was awarded the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year Award" by TYOP in 1994. He is the author of two books: Strategic IT: The New Dimension and The Tornado. He has also been published in numerous international business magazines and newspapers and is a frequent speaker at IT industry events.


Mikael Lövgren is a member of the Board for Panopticon data visualization software

Mikael Lövgren is the Managing Director for the Nordic Region of Bridgepoint,  a leading European private equity player with 12 billion Euros under management. He is responsible for Bridgepoint’s Nordic investment activities and is also a member of the firm's European Media & Tech and Healthcare investment teams. Prior to joining Bridgepoint in 2006, he spent almost two years at TV4, the leading Nordic broadcasting group. He is also a board member of Tre Vänner, one of the leading Nordic TV production companies. He is a 20 year veteran of The Boston Consulting Group where he founded its Nordic operations, led its Nordic team and was also head of its Nordic Healthcare Practice Group. He also serves on the boards of Karolinska University Hospital, Terveystalo OY, NewSec AB, ELLEN AB, Cordial Management Consultants, AlbaEco, A-Katsastus, and Tre Vänner. Mr. Lövgren holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and studied law at University of Stockholm.


Magnus Wikner is a member of the board for Panopticon data visualization software

Magnus Wikner is founding partner and vice chairman of the board of directors of Valbay International S.A., an independent family office and wealth manager for high net worth individuals with its registered office in Luxembourg. Valbay International S.A. has today business in three countries, Luxembourg, Sweden and Switzerland. Magnus has been working with financial planning and wealth management for 18 years. Magnus is a former partner and member of the board of directors of Hult & Co AB, (now part of Söderberg & Partners).

Mans Hultman is former CEO of QlikTech and advises Panopticon data visualization softwareMåns Hultman was formerly CEO of Business Intelligence solution provider QlikTech from May 2000 to September 2007. Under his leadership, QlikTech transformed from a small, product oriented Swedish software vendor, into one of the world’s fastest growing software companies, with more than 6,000 customers and sales in more than 75 countries. During the same period, revenue grew by more than 3,500%. He continued as Chairman of the Board until late 2009, leaving in early 2010, three weeks before the company filed for IPO at NASDAQ. The IPO became the most successful of all IPO's on NASDAQ during 2010. In 1992 Måns cofounded Sundet Investment, which became one of the early investors in QlikTech. He is also the board member of Digital Route, It's Learning, Keybroker, NetAdmin and Informilo in a portfolio of fast growing companies. Måns studied economics at the University of Lund, Sweden.


Chuck Kane advises Panopticon data visualization softwareCharles Kane brings a depth of strategic experience and perspective to the Progress Software board of directors. In addition to his role here, he is also a director at One Laptop Per Child, a non-profit organization that provides computing and internet access for students in the developing world, e-commerce leader Demandware (DWRE) and data backup and restoration service provider Carbonite Inc. (CARB). He previously served as director for Netezza Corp. before it was acquired by IBM, Applix Software, which was acquired by Cognos and is now part of IBM, and Borland Software until its acquisition by Micro Focus Corporation. Kane’s executive leadership positions include roles as president and chief operating officer at One Laptop Per Child, chief administrative and chief financial officer at Global BPO Services, chief financial officer of RSA Security, chief financial officer at Aspen Technology, chief financial officer at Informix Software and president and chief executive officer at Corechange, Inc. He has also held financial positions with Stratus Computer, Inc., Prime Computer Inc., and Deloitte & Touche LLP. A CPA, Kane earned his MBA in international finance from Babson College and his BBA in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He also serves as an adjunct professor of international finance at the MIT Sloan Graduate Business School of Management and is a dedicated social entrepreneur.


John Wattin is an advisor to the board for Panopticon Data Visualization SoftwareJohn Wattin has been actively involved in the IT industry for over 30 years and is an active independent investor in various high technology companies. He has successfully started and/or managed a number of companies over the years, including Astral AB, Modulföretagen AB and Scandiakonsult AB (now part of The Ramboll Group). Mr. Wattin was also one of the founders of Enator AB (which is today, renamed as TietoEnator, and is one of the largest IT services companies in Scandinavia). He was actively involved in Indevo AB, Mandator AB and Sigma AB and is currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Board for MySQL AB, Chairman of Betsson, Chairman of Qbranch AB, Chairman of Syntensia, and a member of the board for Akademikliniken AB, Value Tree AB, Net Entertainment AB, and Silentium AB. John is also senior advisor to Evli Bank in Sweden. He has published a number of articles and is author of an award-winning book, How to Develop and Run Companies in the Service Sector.
